Privacy policy — Thornwood Digital

Privacy, plainly.

What this site collects, why, and what happens to it. Short version: we collect what you send us, we measure how pages are used, and we never sell any of it.

Effective July 2, 2026

Who we are

Thornwood Digital is a web design and AI automation studio in Pleasant Grove, Utah, operated by Jaxon Carroll. Questions about anything on this page: call (801) 380-6854 or use the contact form. Our terms of service live here too.

What you send us

When you submit an inquiry form we receive what you typed — your name, contact details, and message. It is delivered to us by email, stored in our own client-management system, and used for exactly one thing: responding to you and scoping your project. It is never sold, shared, or added to a marketing list. Want an inquiry deleted? Ask, and it’s gone.

What we measure

This site uses Google Analytics to understand traffic — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and what devices they use. We also run a first-party interaction beacon that records anonymous click and scroll positions so we can improve page layouts; it sets no cookies, collects no personal information, and the data never leaves our own infrastructure. Neither tool is used to identify you.

What we deliberately avoid

Fonts and video are served from this site directly — no third-party font or media requests following you around. No ad trackers, no retargeting pixels, no social-media widgets watching you scroll.

Payments

Invoices and payments are handled by established payment providers — card numbers and bank details go to them directly and are never stored on our systems.

When information is shared

Only two situations: service providers that make this site work (hosting, email delivery, payment processing — each bound to use data solely to provide their service), and legal requirements, if the law compels it or it's necessary to prevent fraud or protect rights. Never sold, never handed to marketers, no exceptions.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new effective date. That’s it — no dark patterns, in the site or the policy.
