01 — The situation
The work existed. A place to see it didn’t.
Michelle and Brandon Burbidge have been designing Utah homes for three decades, including projects in the Utah Valley Parade of Homes. Thirty years of finished rooms lived in folders and on phones.
For a design house, that’s the whole sales conversation sitting in a drawer. A homeowner deciding who to trust with their house wants to walk through what you’ve already done.
02 — What we built
A room of its own for every project.
- A dedicated page for each home — Evergreen Summit, Modern Elm, Rustic Hideaway, Cabin on the Lake, Hidden View
- Two Utah Valley Parade of Homes projects given the space they earned
- A gallery built for real photography, with lightweight thumbnails so image-heavy pages stay fast on a phone
- Process, team, and FAQ pages, so a homeowner knows what hiring a designer actually involves before they call
03 — Why it matters
A portfolio is a sales tool, not a scrapbook.
Interior design is bought on trust and taste, and both are judged on a screen first. Twenty-three inquiries came through the site in seven weeks — each one from someone who had already walked through the work and decided they liked it.
"We loved working with Jaxon — he listened and understood all our wants for our new website."

Your portfolio should do this much work.
